Back to Michigan Atlatl Association Written on 07-Apr-2008 by JimGilliganI hope you find it useful and easy to use. We now have our own domain, michiganatlatl.org so it will be easier to tell folks how to find us.
You are what makes this association work. Feel free to add photos, videos, stories, news or anything else you wish to share. Click on the tabs above for pages specific to the GLP Summer Gathering, Primitive Skills, and Flintknapping. As requested, there is also a page devoted to those who wish to buy, sell, and trade Stone Age goods.
When you first sign on, you are assigned your own personal Webjam, or profile. In other words you now have your own website that you can modify to suit your needs. Here's mine: http://www.webjam.com/jimgilligan Glen Kruger has done a nice job setting his up as a retail smithy: http://www.webjam.com/catherineglenkrueger
Check out this video first to get started: http://help.webjam.com/webjam/videotutorial01/
Let me know how you like our new home on the web and what else you would like to see.

Hey Krug, your new profile - http://www.webjam.com/catherineglenkrueger
is your own personal page. You can build it any way you like with any of the modules I used to build this site. Keep us posted on your progress. I'm sure others will want to do the same. The nice thing about this site is its social networking capabilities. Jim

So where does one post registration forms and things like that? I wish profiles didn't default to the United Kingdom when I add something to me.

JimGilligan says:
Hi Mitzi, Webjam is currently working on a file uploader that will work like their photo uploader. Meanwhile I have discovered file widgets, like those at http://www.box.net
I have already added one to the GLPSG page and loaded the updated GLP docs on it.
I know they are working on that UK thing too.
