Back to Michigan Atlatl Association Written on 11-Jul-2008 by JimGilliganWe are honored to be one of Webjam's featured sites this week. As the name of our club implies we are interested making and using the ancient atlatl, the spear thrower that predates the bow and arrow by several thousand years.
But we are also interested in all facets of Stone-Age and later living skills. While you are surfing around our site, take a look at the craftsmanship of some of our members like Mitzi Lee, Two Otters, Michigan Bow Guy, and Wolf Fish Forge. You will see that many of our members have goods for sale too.
If you would like one-on-one instruction on any primitive technologies, you should consider joining us at the Great Lakes Primitives Summer Gathering on Bois Blanc Island. It is a four day primitive skills school where we come together to share our passion for the older ways.
Thanks for visiting and we hope you stop by often!
Peace, Jim
